Danielle Foltz, Cashier, Lititz, Employee since 2006

Danielle began working for Stauffers of Kissel Hill in high school as a part time cashier.  She spent nearly 2 years in that position.  In 2008, Danielle relocated for an internship opportunity in Missions.  Upon completing her 2 years, Danielle returned to the area and to Stauffers.  She currently works as a full time cashier at our Lititz Pike supermarket.

Danielle Shares With You…

Stauffers was my first job, I started here in high school.  It seemed like a great first job, to be a cashier and interact with people.  During my time here, I moved into close-out duties as well, doing cash handling and working in the booth.  After my internship ended, I remembered my experiences at Stauffers, and decided I wanted to return.  I had gotten along very well with everyone, from my coworkers to my managers.

Now that I am full time, I work mostly during the day, which gives me the opportunity to get to know a lot of our regular customers.  It is nice to see the same people in our store from week to week.  This job is great because it really teaches you to serve.  Not only your customers, but you serve your coworkers and your managers.

Compared to other stores, Stauffers definitely cares more about their customers and about their employees.  I mean, we are given 9 hours of customer service training right off the bat.  We are definitely held to a higher standard, and our customers appreciate that.
