Pet Policy

Stauffers of Kissel Hill allows service animals and pets on our premises according to guidelines within the Supermarket and Garden Center Lines of Business. A pets is defined as any domesticated animal kept for companionship.

 

Supermarket – Pets are not permitted in the Supermarkets due to cleanliness, food safety codes and practices. Customers who violate this policy will be required to immediately remove their pet from the building. The only exceptions are “Service Animals” which are permitted.

 

Garden Center – Pets are permitted in the Garden Centers except in climate controlled buildings. Pets must be leashed in the care and control of the owner at all times. If the type of pet does not allow for a leash, the pet must be held and in the control of the owner. A manager may request an owner to remove their pet from the retail store if that pet is causing discomfort to another customer or causing damage or disruption in the retail store. Service animals are permitted.
