WEDDING BOUQUET STYLES

Nosegays (round clusters of flowers) are a very trendy style bouquet. Also called a tussie mussie, this style dates back to the 14th century, when it was used to mask unpleasant odors - thus the term of nosegay. Nosegays can vary in sophistacation and are therefore a good choice for any wedding.









Cascade bouquets feature flowers that descend below the main portion of the bouquet. The fullness of the bouquet is often the focal point of this design.











Hand-tied bouquets are designed to show the natural growth of the stems. The stems are often wrapped in ribbon or French braided together. Hand-tied bouquets have a more casual air, and are the bouquet of choice for a garden wedding.










Contemporary bouquets are often inspired by unconventional ideas, patterns and styles. They are created with flowers that have a definite form or line. Flowers such as calla lilies, orchids, anthuriums, and birds of paradise add character to the design. Contemporary bouquets are perfect for the sophisticated, cosmopolitan style wedding.
