We'll dry your fresh wedding flowers and redesign them in keepsake glass domes or three dimensional frames!


You can show the actual flowers of your special day to your children and grandchildren. We also dry flowers from proms, funerals and special occasions. We will make your occasion memorable as well as affordable!


Your wedding day is the most important day of your life. You have spent many hours planning every detail, making sure that everything is perfect. And, you will treasure the memories made on this very important day for the rest of your life! You can create a tangible memory of this day by having your wedding flowers preserved here at Stauffers.


Our trained staff will carefully dry the flowers in your bouquet, the boutonniere the groom will wear, or any other flowers you would like to keep. Each flower is done separately, and much care is taken to assure that every flower is dried to perfection, retaining their beauty and appeal. It is important to note that the sooner we receive the flowers to dry, the better the results!


Once the drying process is complete, two to three weeks, your flowers can be reconstructed and put into a glass dome, or put into a beautiful wooden shadow box. Shadow boxes come in a variety of sizes, starting at 8" x 10", and several finishes. You can also add keepsakes from your day to the shadow box, if you wish, such as your invitation, a photo, a small favor, matches, and ribbon from your bouquet.


Our staff will be happy to discuss this process with you any time you wish. At this time, we will show you frames as well as domes, so you can have an idea of what is available. Glass domes are on wooden bases, and come in small, medium or large.
This is the first step to creating a family heirloom, and the perfect way to preserve the happy memories of the beginning of your wonderful life together!

HERE ARE THE DETAILS
Plan for someone to bring your wedding flowers to a Stauffers store (Lititz or Rohrerstown) the day of your wedding. If you are unable to bring your flowers in until the next day, please preserve their freshness by placing them in a plastic bag with moisture in it, and refrigerating them. DO NOT FREEZE THE ARRANGEMENT! Excessive handling will bruise the flower petals, which causes them to darken when dried. Careful handling is essential to the flowers drying in their original shape. (We suggest using a second bouquet if you intend to throw your bouquet.) The bouquet is disassembled to allow the flowers to be dried separately. The drying of the flowers needs to be paid for when we receive your bouquet. Allow 2 to 3 weeks for your flowers to dry. At this time, you will come to our store, and select the frame size, color backing or glass dome.. All these detail may be taken care of BEFORE your wedding. Call the Home Accents Department for an appointment.

The specific designs may not be available for outgoing wire orders. We will work to assure the order meets your expectations. Since each order is custom made, we can vary size and price to meet your needs!
