Spend less time preparing, and more time enjoying a delicious meal with your family.
CRAB CAKES
Ingredients:
•1 Can (1lb.) Cen Sea Claw Crab
•1 Small Red Onion (finely chopped) about 1/4
•1/4 Cup Peppers any color (finely chopped)
•1 Tbsp. Dry Mustard
•1 Tsp. Cayenne Pepper
•1/2 Cup Crowley Sour Cream (regular or low fat)
•1 Egg slightly Beaten
•1 Cup 4C Flavored Style Bread Crumbs
•Zest of One Lemon
•1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
•Salt and Ground Pepper to taste.
•1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
•1/2 Cup 4C Bread Crumbs on the side (before placing Crab Cakes in Pan on
stove dip in extra bread crumbs and then place in pan.
•Combine first 11 ingredients, except oil. Blend well with hands until throughly mixed. Form crab cakes, then dip each side in bread crumbs and place in hot pan for about 5 minutes a side until golden brown. Serve with cocktail sauce.
A quick way to make cocktail sauce is to add horseradish to Heinz Ketchup. The amount of horseradish added makes it hot or mild.
To complete the meal, scrub baby potatoes, cut them in half, and place in oven safe pan. Top with Kraft Italian Dressing and bake 45 minutes at 375 degrees until tender. Make the potatoes first, before preparing the rest of the meal. For a vegetable entree, try frozen broccoli florets, blanched for 2 minutes in boiling water, remove, run through cold water and drain. Top with Kraft Ranch with Bacon Dressing, and enjoy this cold veggie salad. This whole meal should take 30 minutes or less, just remember, the potatoes will take longer.
