STAUFFERS RECIPES - POULTRY

Meals in 30 Minutes or Less!
Spend less time preparing, and more time enjoying a delicious meal with your family.

CHICKEN CHILI

Ingredients:
•2 lbs. Boneless Chicken, baked and diced
•1 Large can Black Beans (1 lb.)
•1 Large can Kidney Beans (1 lb.)
•5 Large Tomatoes, Diced
•1 Large can Tomato Puree
•1 Tbsp. Chili Powder
•1 Tbsp. Cumin
•1 Large Red Onion, cut and diced
•4 Peppers, try using all color’s and cut in strips
•2 Tbsp. Sugar (for a touch of sweetness)
•Salt and Pepper to taste

For lower Salt content, and to save time, buy canned beans and rinse them off before placing in chili to remove some of the sodium.

Place all ingredients into your crock pot early in the morning and by lunch time you’ll have a healthy delicious treat for your family.
Serve with an array of low fat sour cream, hot peppers, and grated cheeses of choice. While this cooks, check to see if you want it hotter or need to add something. It’s fun to add things you like - experiment and have a good time!
