Julie
Education: Julie graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy, Class of 2012. She has her minor in Italian Language and Literature, and a Western European Studies Certificate.
Number of Years Pharmaceutical Experience: She’s been working in pharmacies for 11 years, since August of 2008, with 7 of those as a pharmacist.
Number of Years with Stauffers: A year and a half
Interests: Her main areas of interest in pharmacy are medication adherence and improving vaccine rates. She thinks those two areas are the biggest opportunities for community pharmacists to impact public health. Her personal interests are spending time with her husband and kids, baseball, running, biking, and yoga.
Favorite thing about Working in the Pharmacy: She likes getting to know people! Pharmacy also has a lot of opportunities for problem-solving, so it can be very satisfying.

Interests: In her free time she loves spending time with family and friends, being involved with her church community, painting, being outside in nice weather, listening to music, watching movies, baking and cooking.
Favorite thing about Working in the Pharmacy: In the Pharmacy she most enjoys interacting with patients and helping them feel comfortable with their purchases and healthcare needs. Her goal is to assist in helping patients improve their quality of life.

Number of Years with Stauffers: She’s been working at Stauffers for 11 years; worked as a Cashier Shift Supervisor for 5 years, then transferred to the Pharmacy as a Full-Time Tech.
Favorite thing about Working in the Pharmacy: Cathy likes the people/customers and getting to know them on a personal basis.
Fun Fact: She became a grandma for the first time this year – twice blessed with a grandson in May and a granddaughter in July.
