Grafted Tomatoes

April 22, 2013

What’s the difference between tomatoes and grafted tomatoes?

Grafted Tomatoes are disease resistant & have a vigorous growth. This basically means you won’t be affected by any kind of blight and your ‘maters will grow big and strong.

Grafting tomatoes is a  natural method from an ancient technique that dates back some 7,000 years! The rootstock of one plant and the scion shoot (the fruiting portion) of another plant are joined and fused together.  The results are the best of both plants and the standout flavor from days of old.

Grafted varieties of tomatoes have shown:

  • Incredible resistance to disease & pests.
  • Greater tolerance of environmental stresses.
  • A more abundant harvest over a longer period of time.
