Bonsai 101

On Saturday, March 7th the Lancaster Bonsai Society will present “Bonsai 101” in the Greenhouse of Stauffer’s Home & Garden Store at 301 Rohrerstown Road in Lancaster from 9:30 to 11:30 am.  This is an opportunity to learn about the Art of Bonsai under the guidance of Dr. Ryan Wagner, Professor and Chair of the Biology Department at Millersville University. The morning will include an introduction to the Art of Bonsai and tips on growing and caring for Bonsai trees as well as a demonstration of how one can create their own bonsai tree from common nursery plants. A question and answer session will follow the presentation. It is free of charge and open to the public.
