What’s so great about Stauffers Signature Chicken Sausage? The flavor! Stauffers only puts their Signature name on something that’s so good they’d be proud to serve it up to their families too.
Our Signature Chicken Sausages are made from local partner Bell & Evans chicken. Bell & Evans provides only the highest quality chicken that has been raised without antibiotics, fed an all vegetarian diet, and it is air chilled. Air chilled chicken means that this protein has a great flavor because nothing is watering it down.
We offer two varieties of Signature Chicken Sausages: Spinach and Parmigiano Reggiano. Both types have a special blend of spices added to them. The spinach sausage uses fresh picked spinach leaves from Stauffers produce department. Next, our parmigiana reggiano variety is made in partnership with the Cheese Shop where we use shredded Authentic Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese that is produced in and imported from the Po River Valley in Northern Italy.
Finally our in store butchers mix the ingredients and stuff the sausage in casings creating the Spinach and Parmigiano Reggiano Chicken Sausage.
How can you cook these sausages?
- Bake it in the oven at 350 – uncovered till done to 165 degree internal temperature
- Grill on your backyard or tailgate grill (gas, charcoal or wood) again till an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
